Discontinued "Soaps".

No - not Libebuoy - but here you can talk about old Soaps such as United, Albion Market, the Newcomers etc. - WITHOUT BEING GREYED OUT!

The next one will have to be Hospital dramas.

I do remember the Newcomers mainly because they were quite a few good looking girls in it.Although TV wasn't big on my agenda in the 60's.

Including one who grew up to be Miss Brahms.

Alternating (on different days of the week) with United, as I recall, and which, as a football mad young boy, was my favourite. It had Harold Goodwin (who often crops up in small parts on TPTV in old b&w films) as Horace, the trainer. A football trainer called Horace - different times indeed! (Suddenly got this feeling of deja vu :))

The other one from my youth was, of course, Compact.

Yes Compact and Emergency Ward Ten,my mother lapped both of them.

I remember Compact too. I seem to remember enjoying it.

Triangle.
That was a bit odd.Set on a ferry but I don't think you ever saw the sea.

Well it disappeared from our screens. Maybe it was the Bermuda Triangle.

I used to like watching The Sullivan's, one of the first Aussie soaps

Sadly no. Why do you think I'm still an unpublished writer?

You need to target your market - how about joke books for toddlers?

Remember: Each rejection is just one step closer. To the next rejection.

Oh! it was a joke.I never thought I'd see one on this forum.

Recognised Ludwig in this week's William Tell as Arnold Tripp from The Newcomers
