Going Gay (1933)

Yank title "Kiss Me Goodbye" - WHY???

Anyway, honky tonk........no it's not like that - this is in the days before Gay was hijacked by some bloody Yank and when the word meant something completely different.

Comedy musical, not my cup of tea, but I watched because Naunton Wayne (see "Chance of a Lifetime" previous - Basil Radford) was one of the leads.

Thank Heavens it was a short film as it was dire as far as the comedy goes and British musicals of this period are of no interest to me.

One to miss.

I can't find anything suggesting this film was ever supposed to be comedy, just musical, so I've moved the thread. Interesting to learn about it though!

Well that's weird, I'm sure I read it as a comedy musical, especially with Naunton Wayne in.

Thanks Aaron.

The sequel, For Love Of You, is described as a comedy. Or this one could just have been billed misleadingly somewhere.

Ah Ta :), and same male leads too, but after this one I don't think I'll bother............or maybe out of curiosity.

I'm curious. Not gay.

Then this one .....
