No More Jockeys

No More Jockeys

It's a foetal panel show from Alex Horne, Tim Key and Mark Watson.

Anyone who remembers We Need Answers knows that this is a winning combination.

I'm not sure whether it's one of those lockdown-era comedians-f**king-about-on-Zoom things, or whether they're genuinely pitching a new format that could translate to radio or TV, but I'm quite enjoying it.

They don't explain the rules, so I won't either. It does look to me like there are some wrinkles that would need ironing out before it made it to mainstream.

I like it so far, Tim Key's very funny.

It's all about personality and "chemistry".

With the wrong people playing the game, this show would be the worst attempt at televisual entertainment since (insert any shite program that we're allowed to criticise).

However, with the three guys they've actually chosen, it's brilliant!

I think these three are all mates from their uni days, so I wouldn't say they were "chosen" as much as they've just decided to film and broadcast the kind of nonsense they'd otherwise be getting up to in the pub.
