I have his album "Muchacho" which I really like, but this really blew me away. I love the piano & organ sound.

I could also hear traces of Dylan and Bap which is why I especially recommended it to you.

Having slept on your Springsteen question, I'm going to change my answer. I'm guessing you already have either of the "Born" albums?

Anyway, in your shoes, assuming you know him a bit already but want to explore him in more depth, here's what I suggest. I think you should listen to his four album run from "Born To Run" chronologically. But give each album its due time. At least a week, but ideally longer, before moving on to the next. So that's -

1. Born To Run

2. Darkness on the Edge of Town

3. The River

4. Nebraska

Once you've done that, you can reward yourself by listening to "We Shall Overcome: The Seeger Sessions".

Thank you. I have started dipping into it and I like it. It isn't the first time I have been aware of Phosphorescent. I know a couple of previous years' albums were in my extensive end of year review listening sessions. For some reason, I've got bands like Allah-Las in my mind so they were probably in that sort of bunch but having said as much it is not what I expected from the name. I had managed to think of it as time passed as more indie in the vein of something like My Bloody Valentine but it clearly isn't and it is more Dylan/Young. I think I hear a bit of Petty there too. So now I'm thinking more in the category of the late and rather great Willard Grant Conspiracy - well, Robert Fisher died - or maybe aspects of the earlier Grant Lee Buffalo but more in the 1970s vibe. I will need to listen to more, though, to get a proper picture.

I think you will find that it was the first and only protest song about the horrendous wet markets in New Mexico.

That one intervention led them to being banned and it ultimately saved the NHS.
