Just herd that Ronan O'Reilly has died.

If you don't know him you'll know his legacy. He started Radio Caroline which along with other stations revolutionised music radio.

O'Rahilly, I think, but I had to check it.

Big name in radio history.

I had hoped to take a trip to an estuary in Essex to visit the Mi Amigo - whoops, the Ross Revenge, I'm muddled now! - on one of their monthly open days/broadcasts but obviously all that stuff is totally off limits for the foreseeable future.

Have you considered working in online journalism?

Thankyou very much and RIP whatever your name is.
If not for you the only young persons music on the BBC would be Uncle Mac's Children's favourites.

Lynn Faulds Wood has died. She was 72.

72 is no age at all these days but, apparently, she suffered a massive stroke. :(

Which is reasonable.

To be fair, I did go very light on you. Very subtle in my questioning.

Think of it as me kindly splashing money around to help people.

Like Chancellor Sushi Rainmac.

RIP - and she must've been very strong. (Sorry!)

she must've been very strong.

Apparently, she started with origami as a child.

Michael Robinson ex Liverpool and others.
He had the misfortune to be there the same time as Dalglish and Rush
He was quite successful elsewhere though.

RIP Jill Gascoine, star of The Gentle Touch and CATS Eyes who I had a real soft spot for*. She died aged 83 but she had been suffering from Alzheimers for a while now.

* I fancied her madly!

RIP Jill.
I didn't actually watch any of her cop series but saw her in lots of other things.Yes,she was very sexy.
