Art Garfunkel says he is 'young, good-looking and a great songwriter'. Lie, lie, lie.

I always thought he was very tall.
I was wrong,Paul Simon is very short.

Even I laughed at this FB post: 'I'm so proud I was born in 1996, the same year the Spice Girls started, and they've been so successful. Also, I'm from the UK, just like the Girls!' Wow. Such powerful, intimate connections. Just as Pete Best is considered the fifth Beatle... However I can compete for your crown, for I too was born in this solar system, AND my name starts with M, like Mels B and C. So start worrying.

Who posted this then?

The great thing about Spicefan FB pages is you can download rare stuff with your free hand. But the really great stuff is the hilarious banter. My personal favourite: 'I am writing to tell fans NOT to buy this product that I found on Amazon. It's called 'Spice Girls Colouring Book' and when I opened it, I just got a load of black and white pictures of the Spice Girls!!! What a rip-off.' In the words of Jimmy Carr, the clue is in the name.

So I might try to eke out another '50 ' from 2019 'cos I have nothing better than to do. Then we can celebrate the first great album of 2020 which will be by the fantastic Bill Fay. That's due for release on the 17th and I'm excited. I thank you.

Any idea how to put them into an actual Playlist? Then I could just let them all run into each other.

Don't ask me how though. :)

Glad I saw this, just ordered the book. It's pretty much unfathomable today that there would be a musician as wide ranging in style and hard working as drummer Hal Blaine - over 35,000 sessions!

Thanks for your positive response which is appreciated.

Are you on Spotify?

I could put a list of most of these tracks together on Spotify if you are on that site although it wouldn't include the more obscure tracks. You can probably see that I have deliberately gone for wide ranging so that there is something for everyone although I haven't posted anything that I see no merit in. I think they have all got something even if the overall standard of music isn't what it was ten and more years ago even when you do avoid most chart material which I do.
