Obscure sitcom facts Page 16

Scrubs? Is that about Wormwood?

In South Park, for the first 15 seasons there was only one non-white child among the cast.

His forename is Token and his surname is Black.

That's not an obscure fact about a sitcom. The fact that he wasn't originally called Token Black is obscure.

More pertinently: although Grange Hill and Minder were often viewed more as dramas, they had plenty of laughs, And interesting use of some of the same actors. Best known is Mark Farmer, moving from Grange Hill (where he was Gary) to Minder, where he was Justin. More obscurely, Tucker's best pal Alan Humphries' father was played in Grange Hill by Tony Barton. But in the Grange Hill spin-off, Tucker's Luck, Mr Humphries was played by Peter Childs, who was Sergeant Rycott in Minder, whereas Tony Barton did not appear in Tucker's Luck but did appear in Minder as a chip shop operator.

So let's have no more basic level South Park fandom knowledge masquerading as obscure facts.

Agreed, as long as you agree to make your own obscure facts at least a little bit interesting in future. Laughing out loud

Just finished watching COUPLING again and it is hilarious, especially the first 3 series

Anyhoo, the main characters Steve and Susan were named after the writer Steven Moffat of Doctor Who fame and his then girlfriend Sue Vertue, daughter of Beryl Vertue, Men Behaving Badly

In Coupling on a number of occasions Susan comes into a scene and says, something like, Sorry I'm late. This was Steven Moffat getting a dig at Sue as she was often late when they were meeting up

Was she ever more than a month late? Just sying.
