I'm not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, or if it is a case of the cheese getting the better of me. There was a sitcom (I believe) from the late 80s or early nineties focusing on a garage somewhere in the UK. The only two things beyond that that I and my friend remember are the occasional musical numbers (including one about girls loving a man that can work with his hands) and a woman with really long, tacky nails.

In the mid-1990s, Safe and Sound was a BBC sitcom set in a garage in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

The business was run by two friends/partners - one a Catholic and the other a Protestant.

Apart from that, I remember very little.
