By coincidence, today I spotted Dept S in the line up for the Curious Festival in E. Sussex.
Been to a Toto concert last night. It was quite good. They were better than the last time in 1999. They're older now...so am I.

I noticed your pal Nels Cline on Tinariwen's album Tassili which is a cool album.
All this Wilco talk has got me digging out some of my favourite alt country, namely The Jayjawks Sound of Lies.
Will go to a Manfred Mann's Earth Band concert on Sunday.

Check out The Geraldine Fibbers, Nels Cline's band back in the late 90s. They're still my favorite band of all time, and there's a tie to the Jayhawks: former Fibbers violinist Jessy Greene joined the Jayhawks after she left.
