The Comedian's OutLuke Podcast

This is the podcast where I have in depth conversations with comedians of all levels; from those just starting out, to those weathered and weary.

Take a listen the podcast, if there's a comedian you love who you think I could book a conversation with; then please do make a suggestion.

Thanks!

I've just clicked on the link and there are four interviews available - with people I've never heard of.

Undaunted, I decided to click the first interview (Nessie Ward) and she began by telling us that she became a stand-up comedian after going on a "How to be a stand-up comedian" course.

I immediately uttered two words, the second of which was "off" and I abandoned the webpage.

I've nothing (personal) against Nessie but I have got something (quite a lot actually) against comedy courses.

I might well return to the site at a later date and listen to an interview with somebody who is naturally funny and who hasn't got more money than sense.

Hasta la vista, Lukey.

Thank you for your kind words, it's always appreciated to recieve some uplifting comments that give one the boost they need to carry on. I mean that's my favourite part of being creative and putting my stuff out there.

I have some great comedian's lined up one of which has worked directly with Will Smith. I am also intrigued by how the comedy industry differs in other cultures. At the end of March I will be interviewing 3 of Uganda's top comedians - Agnes Akite, Anne Kansiime and Tumu Siime.

It is a young podcast, I do hope you return to it and enjoy future episodes.

Luke

I had no idea that the Ugandan comedy scene is on the up, I may have a go at those ones just to compare it with our own.

I can hardly wait.

In the meantime, please be assured that I wish you and your podcasts every success.

I even wish Nessie Ward every success.

It's just that I wish hellfire and damnation upon all comedy courses.

What's wrong with comedy courses, Rood Eye? Out of interest only.
Good luck with the podcasts, Luke.

A tad late but here are the Ugandan Specials - they were absolutely intriguing to do.
