Good American sitcoms that aren't Seinfeld or Curb Page 3

Mike & Molly was a great little sitcom until it stopped mid story because Melissa McCarthy found movie fame calling.
Vince Moranto was hilarious.

According to Jim, Bundy (Married... with Children), The King of Queens
are not too bad for one time lazy watch.

HEY guys, if you're looking for funny check out these comedy sketches by Key and Peele https://youtu.be/3zBzsj5PfTY

If you can overlook the fact that Louis CK has turned out to be a major league sleazeball, then his sitcom Louiie is excellent..

I'm very excited about this.

30 Rock is just sublime. The best in my view!
Parks and Recreation, Community and The Office are great too although none of these really get going until the 2nd season.
Six Feet Under was great. It's not really a sitcom though and was occasionally very harrowing (although also often funny).
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also brilliant and funny although again not really a sitcom.
A lot of people like Brooklyn Nine Nine - seems good but never got into it.
Never understood the fuss about Scrubs!
Frasier and Cheers were great but are inevitably increasingly dated (as is Seinfeld).

A lot of the best ones can't be accessed in the UK on workable DVD.

Barney Miller, Chico and the Man, the above mentioned Newhart programmes, Something Wilder, My Favourite Martian.............and over a hundred others!

All very, very annoying.

Luckily you can get Bilko, Cheers, Frasier, Police Squad, Get Smart, Malcolm in the Middle, Mister Ed etc. and some other programmes from ages ago like I Love Lucy, The Munsters. That sort of thing.

And I have done!

I can name the ones that can and can't be if anyone wants advice.

Sadly, most of them you can't.

That doesn't sound very American.

None of these can compare with a good British sitcom.

They're better than most British sitcoms, Chappers!

Brooklyn 99 is brilliant , Bilko is unsurpassed Malcolm in the Middle is the best in its genre, King of Queens is bang on the money and Married with Children is TV's Grunge moment and in conclusion Bakersfield PD had it all but never took off,

Bakersfield PD was indeed a great show that sadly never found an audience.

Superstore S01, S02 are done binging, - so far so good, in my book it is 7/10 (for comparison Cheers 7/10, Friends 5/10, Good Place 4/10, Mom(US) 2/10).

I absolutely agree with this. All classics as listed in top 100 from the BBC's television poll called Britain's Best Sitcom are unsurpassed even by modern UK TV, and almost all US modern sitcom is very bland and boring in my view.
Here are those famous 100 https://mubi.com/lists/britain-s-best-sitcom-the-bbc-s-top-100 Also there is only 50 top listing (cropped version) of this list.

Of course, this post is for some random US reader who doesn't know about BBC poll yet.

Another vote for Community although it can be a bit too clever some times. Half the fun though is spotting the references.

Sports Night was good if a bit too focused on baseball and American football which I don't understand although the cricket episode is quite amusing,

I've also been enjoying Last Man Standing recently. Occasionally drifts into politics and I think the right wing stuff (pro gun, pro hunting, medicare is socialism etc) is supposed to be serious although I see it more of a send up.
