How about an Off Topic subforum of the British Comedy Guide forum so General Discussion is only threads on comedy/performance stuff and unrelated subjects like politics go in to off topic. Maybe even set the Off Topic subforum so it only appears when you're logged in. I don't know how to do it but it sounds like it could de-clutter the General Discussion realm.

Hi Tarby. 'General Discussion' was actually created to be the 'off topic' non-comedy forum in which one could chat politics, dogs, trees, whatever. 'General Comedy' was for everything 'on topic' that didn't fit a particular genre. I think it broadly still works?
