Watched "Young Frankenstein" that I had recorded off The Beeb at the weekend - had forgotten how funny it was.

It is a great film. Mel Brooks joint finest hour along with Blazing Saddles.

Laughing out loud Not that I mind but he seemed to be obsessed with "it".

In BS the sheriff going to get it out, with ladies fainting and in YF " He would have an enormous schwanzstucker!"

I hope we all see through it and vote for Hitler's National Socialist...I mean er, someone else.

Do you mean Corbyn's National Socialists?

'This Week'. I Don't agree with his politics, but I still think Portillo is a fine figure of a man. Laughing out loud

"The Yorkshire Steam Railway: All Aboard" on Channel 5, a channel I generally find to have B rated documentaries, BUT THIS ONE IS A WINNER!

Loving every moment of it, from the engineering to the every day life of the people who work there and now a wedding thrown in for good measure.

MOST enjoyable!

Eeee lad t'Steve, never thowt were't borin't people in't Yorkshire like - how't wrong't I'twas..............

Just finished gorging on a lot of films on telly. A bit of Live and Let Die. Always been one of my favourite Bond movies, Roger Moore debuts with aplomb. A lot more humour in this than previous 007s. A bit of Casino then all of The Full Monty. Two opposites, American excess followed by British drudgery, great acting in both. Earlier Jason and the Argonauts then The Battle of Britain. Both brilliant and both heavily reliant on models as are many action movies of any period. Pinewood are the world's experts at scale model scenes. I bet many would be surprised that some of their favourite movies scenes were filmed using little toy models.

That came up in a film profile I was watching last week and he said it was the take on the character (more humour, which Roger was always good at) to make his mark over Sean.

Also, the best film theme in my opinion, sharing the lead with "You Only Live Twice" - those opening cascading strings just do it for me - neck and neck with hairs on the back of my neck bristling.

Springwatch.

Question Time. Jo Swinson is the jinkies. The idiot Brexit woman is a brainless shit. Very ignorant.

Gimme Gimme Gimme - s2 "The Millennium Special"
It stands out from all other episodes, - at least twice as funny.

Springwatch.

You only watch it for the birds.

Was watching Britain's got Talent.
It should be renamed Britain has not got talent.

Most of them wouldn't get a slot on an 'end of pier' show - in winter.

There are singers who can't hold a note, magicians by the dozen who's opening gambit is 'pick a card'
and some old boy Chelsea pensioners singing war songs.
Not to mention a 10 minute prologue for each act telling us of the tragedies in their lives.

Three of the judges need sacking... every act is wonderful and amazing - nope, they are f**king shite.
