The Sitcom Mission 2018, the UK-based international sitcom writing competition, is now open for entries.
Please read the rules and guidelines before entering.
The deadline to upload your script is 23:59 BST on Saturday 30th June 2018.
More details here: https://www.comedy.co.uk/sitcom_mission/info/

The 305th of June? That's what I call a deadline.

Me and my fat fingers. Have now changed it to 30th June.

Thanks, Beaky. Glad one of us is awake.

Hi Simon, do you know when the silver feedback will be ready? I'm itching to do a great rewrite before the competition closes and am looking forward to the feedback.

Feedbacks are on the way. Promise.

We'll adjust deadlines accordingly. Nobody will be rushed into a final draft.

Regards,

Simon and Declan

That's great!

Thanks.

Does this mean the deadline is no longer June 30th?

A reasonable question.

June 30th is the deadline for all new entries. Those who've taken up the feedback options will have been given adjusted deadlines if we haven't been able to get their feedback to them as promised.

Who won this competition please?

We've long listed 8 scripts for the Sitcom Mission 2018, and they are:

This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things by Cassie Jauffret-Lenzi

Phantasmagoria by Colm Field

Tim 2.0 by Dan Hobson and Jon Bridle

All At Sea by Daniel Page

Bubble Up by Jamie Humphrey

Wait For It by Helen Cattle

Key Suspect by Ian Williams

Woolybacks by Andrew Rimmer

Congrats to the writers of the above, and our thanks to everybody else who entered this year's competition.
