A Futile and Stupid Gesture

A Futile and Stupid Gesture is just out on Netflix to good reviews; 8.7/10 from IMDb. It tracks the origins of the National Lampoon magazine through to their Films Animal House and Caddy Shack, Loved it.

I just recently saw this...it was okay, as in nothing special and a step up from the average 80s TV Movie of the Week. Had a problem with the main character narrating his life as a very old man even though he died young. Kind of killed the point and took too many liberties to describe how drugged out and mentally unstable Doug Kenney really was, and why.

Not nearly as good as Josh's book which is a favourite.
