The Director of Vodafone's Christmas ad starring 'Sherlock' star Martin Freeman has eaten his own head.

The coroner recorded an open verdict but 'did not rule out' the possibility that excessive exposure to the schmaltz-heavy, emotion-by-numbers, yack-fest that is the Vodafone ad, may have contributed to his demise.

"My wife and I previously thought nothing would ever top 'Love Actually' on the cheese-stakes, but this shit!!! I mean does he REALLY need the money???" commented the coroner after a drink or six.
