Whilst Googling I came across this character who I vaguely remember from my youth - the name more than anything.
Apparently based on a Paul Gallico novel it was turned into a US sitcom which was aired in the US from 1956 to 1957.
Subsequently it was shown in the UK from 1960 to 1961.
Does anyone else remember it?
