Is it me or is there a serious lack of stand up DVDs being released this year, as is usual for the Christmas rush? On last count there was Sean Lock, Micky Flanagan, Chubby Brown, Adam Hills and Dawn French. Aren't there usually a huge speight of them, or are there more to be announced?

There are probably a couple still to be revealed, but yes, there is a definite lack this year. They do go in cycles, with some years a few more and others a few less, but I think it's a bit of an open secret that the stand-up DVD market has been struggling with declining sales.
