Q: How long does it take to write a three minute comedy sketch or monologue or a humorous short story of less than 1,000 words?

A: The answer is not to say you're waiting for the muse to strike. This could take days, weeks, years or like buses, it might never turn up. Don't insult your muse by putting it on a zero hours contract, get it working full time today, with overtime. You might then find you'll want to give it a permanent contract. Don't put off until tomorrow what you can do today.
