On 1st April the Royal Mail unveiled 10 new stamps featuring famous British comedy stars/shows...

In no particular order the stamps feature: Spike Milligan, the Two Ronnies, Billy Connolly, Morecambe and Wise, Norman Wisdom, Lenny Henry, Peter Cook and Dudley Moore, Monty Python, French and Saunders and Victoria Wood...

Is there anyone you'd swap or add to that group of illustrious comedy stars..?

Having been in the business it used to be the case that any British stamps could only feature dead people. Obviously that's gone out of the window.

I guess these all made their mark over 20 years ago. None of them are what you would call purely comedy actors. I would include Jasper Carrot and Harry Enfield.

The Carry On stars had their own issue some years ago.

This could turn into a "who do you think is the best comedian" and prove very divisive, hence I have no opinion that I care to post.
