He's a loathsome shit.

Hard to believe that the wave of popularity with which he became PM. Now he's a dirty word and deservedly so.

Mr liar/war criminal Blair and his equally venal, repulsive wife. Enjoy your millions. Thats "socialism" folks.

A bit harsh. He's a fantastic dancer and he was great on Give Us A Clue.

I was NEVER a fan. Way back when John Smith was still alive and Blair was spokesman for something or other, I used to hurl abuse at the TV (what's new?) whenever he came on.

Yes! I remember reading about how she offered to make a charity appearance for free and then presented them with a £17,000 bill for expenses. F**king cow.

I can be very forgiving of Blair, he got a Labour government in when it was doubtful anyone else could (Major beat Kinnock FFS). He reversed a lot of the cuts and reinvested heavily in schools and hospitals.
If he hadn't the NHS would have collapsed completely (sort of like it is at the moment).
Made benefits humane and brought market forces in positively in to lots of areas (the council services and disability payments the cons are currently slashing).
The Gulf War was a mistake of which the UK paid a tiny role. The Kosovan war prevented probably more than one European genocide, not to mention the Northern Ireland agreement. As for Afghanistan it's the same situation as Syria at the moment and I think we can all agree just how well none intervention is working there.
He was the face of successful, electable, Labour not socialism, socialism's dead as dog shit.
And as long as he's treated with disdain by his own party we're at the mercy of the real arseholes in the Conservative Party.

Facebook.

Currently my mother harping on about my weight. I'm 6'2 and just over 16 stone and she keeps telling me I'm obese.mthe fact I still have the same waistline as I had when I was 21 (34 inch) doesn't even register with her. I'm far from skinny but by no means am I even anywhere near chubby. Admittedly she's stick thin 5'2 and next to her a stick insect looks like a fat f**k but she goes on about it all the time.
I'll eat one piece of chocolate or have one sip of something fizzy and before I've even thought about having another one she'll be telling me I've had enough.

She wonders why I don't visit her more.

Men who get drunk and start singing.

Didn't she help some dyslexic people for free? Suing their educators or somesuch. Papers don't always want to print the good stuff. I met her at a couple of charity things and she seemed very nice. She didn't charge as far as I am aware.

I'm not supporting or defending any of what's going on, just making an observation.

However disreputable that is, it's absolutely standard and most charities expect to pay it.

Generally on the basis that donors will give ten times as much, to be seen with someone famous in a charitable setting.

Personally I've long felt no honours or charity trusteeships etc if you're a crook. You can have your dirty money and everyone can know you're a shit.

Maybe, but like the bitch needed it.

Oh you could say that about any wealthy celeb.

Though this is the measure of the lady. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1379966/Sack-for-ticket-inspector-who-fined-Cherie-Blair-10.html
