BBC Writers room script reader wins Page 3

Taking this to the extreme, what if the blog declaring the winners said 'All of our winners were judges in the competition!' How would that have looked?

Just like to say I am available to read for the next writers room submission window, just as soon as I have finished my entry.

I am also available to hand pick the lottery balls if needed...

Especially with a room that's remit is not to get work produced.

That's a good idea-start a Broadcast Room?

Or even a corporation?

If that happened Dan they would have to follow up with another notice declaring that winning is not important, it's the taking part that counts.

On a not-entirely-unrelated note, should the BBC have their own awards ceremony for BBC stuff? Feels a bit weird, especially having a 'star-studded event' at a time when the government are on their back about how much the corporation wastes money. http://www.bbc.co.uk/mediacentre/latestnews/2015/audio-drama-awards-shortlist https://www.comedy.co.uk/news/story/000001959/bbc_audio_drama_awards_2016_comedy_nominations/

I'd have thought you just make the shows and let the outside world judge you about what's best.

Dan

Don't the BBC host the TV Baftas every other year?
