The Faulty Towers Dining Experience

Has anyone ever been on the Faulty Towers experience?

If you're unaware of what it is, two or three actors playing the roles of Basil, Sybil and Manuel - maybe even a hot bird playing Polly I would imagine. Anyway, it's a comedy dining experience and something I have wanted to experience for many years.

Anyway, the family bought me a couple of tickets to this event in Bath, near where I live and the bastarding company has been made to cancel and refund tickets because of copyright reasons - they've been doing them for years! Typical.

If anyone has been on one of these (or similar), was it funny?

I've seen those kind of things advertised in my local theatre, but no, I've never gone. Personally it sounds awful, but I guess not everyone's of the same mind and opinions as me (thank goodness!)

Anything that sounds like it might involve audience participation fills me with dread.

I have heard this was good though. They did Edinburgh for years, I think. Weird for whomever it is to take so long to throw their fit over copyright.

Abso-bloody-lutely! Especially if it's me that has to participate. I'm a complete coward with these things.

Hehe. I reserve the right to run off and hide in the toilets.

You have to agree to being hit on the head with a spoon by Basil.

Yeah! You seem a really unfit layabout couch potato who wouldn't dream of going out of doors.
