Hi.
I've just joined in the hopes of finding people around Glasgow who are interested in writing comedy, and/or performing it.
I've not written in a long time, but I've had a go at songs, sketches, and I have a couple of sitcom ideas. I'd have a crack at anything, but I've concluded doing it alone probably isn't going to work. I think having someone that shares your sense of humour, that you can make laugh and makes you laugh, gives that spark to make something funny.
I suppose I should list the things I like and the things I dislike to gauge my comedy tastes:
Like: The League of Gentlemen, A Bit of Fry and Lorie, Ab-Fab, Psychoville, HIGNFY, That Mitchel and Webb Look, The Unbelievable Truth, The News Quiz, Bleak Expectations - I'm sure there's more.
Hate: Michael McIntyre, Not Going Out, Miranda.
