Tales of the unexpected

Loose Women is truly awful.

Woman's Hour had an interesting interview with Joan Smith on the 20th anniversary of the release of "misogynies".

Anyhow, I would recommend "My Last Summer" on Channel 4. Very moving stuff.

Tales of the unexpected

Any particular tale?

Umm a rather dull one

Some yob tries to break into an old woman's flat

Hurts his ankle

She takes pity

He still nicks an expensive broach

He gets picked up by the rozzers and they find the broach on him

Turns out the old lady had robbed the broach herself off some rich woman she worked for years ago

Etc

Yes. It is very good.

Glen Miller story on 5USA.

They're just about to swing up a US army march that they've been playing for 100 years.

I only watch this when I've literally nothing else to do

Shoot me

Yes. It is very good.

Yep. Harrelson and McConaughey are excellent throughout.
