Vicious series 1 for £5.99 in HMV, not bad and they have quite a few full box sets for under £20 like Only Foools 1-7, Hi - De - Hi, Goodnight Sweetheart, One Foot In The Grave.

All Lee Evans Stand-up DVDs only £2.99 each in HMV.
Drifters is £5.99 in HMV
Michael McIntyre's Complete Laughter Box which contains all 3 of his stand-up DVDs is only £5 in Morrisons. Bargain!

Network have got a sale on some box sets.

Birds Of A Feather complete is currently £25, with P+P that's just shy of £29.

Best price I've seen it at yet.

(I've just picked up London's Burning 1-7 for the same price, bargain.)

Picked up Jon Richardson Funny Magnet Live from HMV today for only £2.99. Bargain! It's £7 on Amazon, it teaches you to shop around!

What are these 'new' BBC box sets I saw in HMV today?

They have a common design in maroon and grey and include OFAH (1-7), OAH, Two Ronnies Complete, Blackadder complete remastered etc.

I haven't been able to find them on t'internet yet.

Funny you should mention that. I saw one for Dad's Army in a second hand shop yesterday. Horrific. No idea what they're thinking.

I was seriously considering purchasing the remastered Blackadder set, as well as The Two Ronnies, but not if they might be in this awful design too. What a huge disappointment.

Are these cheap editions?
I mean there is this new trend to release legendary rock cds in cheap, ugly packages without booklet etc to budget prices. Maybe this is a similar approach.
