Why am I so crap at wrapping parcels!!

I am going away for Christmas today and won't be back for the 27th.

I also. Even when I try to "measure" the amount of paper I need I still often have gaps. Many times I have ended up with something looking more like a patch work. I've learnt that sometimes if you put the thing you a wrapping at angle you sometimes end up with enough paper. My bad wrapping skills really used to annoy my sister for some reason.
