Hot on the heels of Carry On Teacher, this honorary Carry On is a Naval-gazing farce involving Kenneth Connor's amazing master-of-disguise talents. When his bumbling, not-so-able seaman character destroys unique plans for a top-secret torpedo, he attempts to cover his tracks by embarking on a series of dodgy deceptions (including impersonating a female Scottish scientist) to throw his Admiral off the scent. Featuring many of the early Carry On cast and crew, this is a delightfully shipshape classic.
An all-star cast includes Leslie Phillips, Sid James, Eric Sykes, Spike Milligan, Kenneth Connor, Joan Sims, Hattie Jacques and Jack Smethurst.
