The Cool Mikado

Hank, son of Herbert Mikado, an American judge, refuses to comply with his father's wish that he marries Katie Shaw. He joins the Army and is posted to Japan where he falls in love with Yum-Yum. But Yum-Yum is betrothed to Ko-Ko, a local gangster. And that's where the trouble starts.

Classic 'update' of the Gilbert & Sullivan comic opera, starring Frankie Howerd and Tommy Cooper.
