The Belles Of St. Trinian's trivia

Arab Boy was played by Windsor Cottage.

The Happiest Days Of Our Lives was an informal precursor to The Belles Of St. Trinian's. Featuring illustrations by Searle, and from the same writer/producer/director duo, it starred Sim and Margaret Rutherford as public school heads. They were initially pencilled in for the roles of the Fritton siblings but Rutherford could not commit to the filming dates. It was eventually Sim's own idea that he take on both parts, playing Millicent in drag.

The Belles Of St. Trinian's was the third highest-grossing title at the British box office in 1954.
