Universal's new 4K disc not only corrects some of the digital issues found on previous releases to deliver a much more filmic and natural image, but it even bestows the film with a wholly unnecessary and possibly unneeded new DTS:X soundtrack. At least porting over almost all of the extras from the previous anniversary means the release also adds a raft of supplemental material, even if seen before, which makes the entire release a worthy upgrade for fans, albeit a cautious one at full price.
