Peter Cook and Dudley Moore put on the guises of Derek and Clive one final time in Derek And Clive Get The Horn. The film mostly records the two feuding stars as they are in the studio recording their record. It consists of a number of brilliant comic sketches as well as a wealth of footage of Pete and Dud verbally abusing each other, mostly while drunk. Famously banned by the British Board of Film Censors upon its completion, this film is not only an excellent documentation of one of the funniest comic duos of the 20th century, but is also a fascinating portrait of the excesses and tension between two creative minds who have come to an impasse.
