About me

I am a writer, performer, and comedian from Manchester. My comedy-drama 'Beth's Din' was nominated for the Channel 4 Writing for Television Award 2020, and my solo short play, 'It Offends Me as a Comedian', was due to be performed at JW3 in London in March 2020. 'It Offends Me as a Comedian' tells the story of Eliza Rosenberg; a struggling stand-up comedian who appears to be hosting an all-female, all-Jewish comedy night. However, her guests fail to materialise and Eliza is forced to improvise. My other work includes 'Stand up for Brain Injury' (2019) with Headway, Cultivate Festival (2019) at Oldham Coliseum Theatre, and working with Rachel Mars on 'Joke Translation Service' (2018) at the Royal Exchange Theatre. I graduated in MLitt Theatre and Performance Practices from the University of Glasgow in 2018, and BA (Hons) Theatre Studies from Lancaster University in 2013.

Favourite shows: 'Derry Girls', 'Stath Lets Flats', 'Detectorists', 'Motherland', 'Peep Show', 'I'm Alan Partridge', 'Green Wing'
