Al Devey is a committee member of London Comedy Writers and a presenter for the Comes With MP3s music show on Radio Woking. He writes an occasional blog about creativity and other matters which can be found on his website, alandevey.net.

In 2021 the audio sitcom he produced and has co-written for LCW - the Bureau of Lost Things, was released as a comedy podcast. Listen now wherever you get your podcasts or on YouTube.

The pilot episode of The Home Front, a sitcom Al co-wrote with Tim Williamson, was a semi-finalist in the winter 2020 Lit Laughs International Comedy Festival under the Comedy Pilot / Web Series Screenplay category. His romantic comedy feature script Flaming Barrels of Love was a finalist in the 2018 Golden Script Competition, the 2019 Your Script Produced Competition and made the Final 50 of the 2018/19 UK Film Festival Feature Script Competition.

Al lives in London and is currently developing further sitcoms and podcasts.
