Ian Wolf

Ian Wolf writes comedic book about comic book artists

Comedy.co.uk's Ian Wolf, who also works as a manga (Japanese comic) critic, spent lockdown writing a comic (as in "funny") book about his favourite comic (as in "graphic novel") artists, the all-woman group CLAMP, entitled CLAMPdown. Now he is searching for a publisher - by releasing one chapter per year on Twitter (@clampdownbook) until a publisher picks him up, or the entire thing is published online for free. As it stands, this would end in 2038, but it could become longer if CLAMP create any new works during that time.

TV Review: Grave New World

There's been many a time where I've wondered if any good comedy could come from the pandemic, and whether or not it was something that I wanted to be reminded of while watching TV, but Stuart Laws and all of the other comedians involved in this series have managed to generate an enormous amount of hilarious moments without it ever being in poor taste or potentially causing upset to anyone.
