Mrs Brown's Boys 'in crisis' as two stars quit over pay

Damien McKiernan and Gary Hollywood have reportedly stepped down from their roles as Dino and Rory on the popular BBC show. The pair complained about their pay after it emerged that they were getting less money than some of the show's other stars.

Matt Forde: Sturgeon hard to mock but Johnson a cartoon

Nicola Sturgeon is difficult to satirise as she is too "stateswoman-like", whereas Boris Johnson is already a "cartoon character", a leading comedian has said. Matt Forde, who writes for the new series of Spitting Image and voices some of the puppets, said imitating the First Minister presented a "challenge" while Johnson is already silly enough that "there's not much exaggeration needed".
