Kate & Koji revels in outdated prejudice

The makers of Outnumbered have created a distasteful comedy about a cafe owner and an asylum seeker, that even the talent of Brenda Blethyn and Jimmy Akingbola can't save.

The Stand Up Sketch Show

TV review: The Stand Up Sketch Show, series 2 episode 4

If they cut down the show to four comedians, giving them five or six minutes each, and made sure that the routines they wished to perform actually benefited from being acted out then this could be a great show. But as it is, it just doesn't work three quarters of the time, the visual element all too often adds absolutely nothing to the material, and the choice of comedian really needs to be improved upon if it's to be a show worthy of anyone's time.

TV review: Feel Good, C4

If I've made Feel Good sound a bit serious for a comedy I should emphasise that there are lots of nice comic touches.

Kate & Koji review

Whisper it, but ITV could just have created that rarest of creatures - a mainstream sitcom that's constantly funny; deserving of critical praise as well as strong audiences.

Kate & Koji review

Unfunny, uninspired, oppressive propaganda. There's nothing wrong with the basic set-up, nor the talented actors assembled, but this sitcom isn't in any way satirical or thought-provoking.

Feel Good review

Feel Good is a layered, nuanced comedy with humanity, and all its flaws at its heart, and comic absurdity on its fringes. That's a potent combination
