Win tickets to the Mencap Comedy Special

The learning disability charity Mencap has announced a heavyweight line up for the Mencap Big Comedy Special stand-up show.

The event is due to take place on Wednesday 2nd October 2013 at The Hammersmith Apollo, London.

The comedy marathon includes funny stand-up favourites Omid Djalili, Jo Brand, Richard Herring, Andrew Maxwell, Jon Richardson, Susan Calman, Tim Vine and Wendy Wason. Hunderby star Jessica Hynes has also signed up to appear on stage, with others still to be announced.

Monday 16th update: Russell Howard joins the line-up. Plus, Cardinal Burns and Tim Downie, who will perform sketches.

All proceeds from the event will support Mencap's continued work supporting people with a learning disability, their families and carers. Mencap campaign for equal rights, challenge attitudes and prejudices, and support people with a learning disability to live their lives the way they want to.
