Blessed was a sitcom centred around a young couple, record producer Gary and his wife Sue, and their two small children whom they are struggling to bring up. The series followed their day to day struggles that gradually got worse as the series progressed.

Written and directed by Ben Elton and starring Ardal O'Hanlon, the show chronicles the lives of two put-upon parents who want the best for their children in a sensitive, yet funny way.
