Cilla's World Of Comedy - The Complete Series

In 1976, 18 months after the legendary Liverpudlian's forst foray into comedy drama with the highly successful Cilla's Comedy Six, ATV engaged Cilla Black for another season of individual sitcoms. Showcasing her versatility and trademark mischievous humour, Cilla's World Of Comedy presented a further set of bittersweet dramas focussing on the trials and tribulations of six modern women with very different lives.

This series sees Cilla stepping into a range of both new and established characters, including a footballer's wife, a woman hoping to escape her past in a new home, a biology teacher who's forced to take stock of her own life, and a bride-to-be making a torturous journey to the altar. Richard Wilson, Keith Barron, Frank Middlemass and James Hazeldine are among Cilla's co-stars.

Its companion series - Cilla's Comedy Six - is also available.
