Born in Britain but lived most of my life in NZ (currently in my 20's).
I love British sitcoms (mostly the older stuff made before I was born) and am continually expanding my DVD collection.
I am somewhat attempting to collect the 100 'Britain's Best Sitcoms' on DVD and have 82 of them in entirity and partial sets of 9. I also have many of the books about the shows or novels that were spin-offs from the shows.
My Top 5 might be something like Whatever Happened to The Likely Lads, Doctor In The ... (House etc), Only Fools and Horses, Allo Allo, and Two In Clover (though that is by no means definite). I also have a guily pleasure in Mind Your Language.
Unfortunately university studies limit my watching but I slowly get through them.
Also quite like some sketch shows (particularly The Fast Show, Hale and Pace) but usually only ones with recurring characters, some newer comedy (Not Going Out, Lead Balloon etc), films (Carry On... etc), panel shows (QI etc), stand up (Jon Richardson, Jason Manford, Lee Mack etc), radio shows (ISIHAC, Genius etc) and books (David Nobbs, Peter Tinniswood, Richard Gordon, Danny Wallace etc).
