Ed Gamble is an English actor, writer, and stand-up comedian. Educated at Durham University, he began his career at the Durham Revue, and was a finalist at the 2007 Chortle Student Comedy Awards. He is well-known for the podcasts The Peacock and Gamble Podcast, with Ian Boldsworth, and Off Menu, with James Acaster. A frequent, successful performer at the Edinburgh Fringe, he has also moved into television, with his faux-reality show Almost Royal (2015), and as a regular panellist on Mock the Week since that same year.
