The programmes in the running for the 2010 Broadcast Comedy Award are...

- Harry Hill's TV Burp
- Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow
- Outnumbered
- Peep Show
- Psychoville
- The Inbetweeners

Meanwhile hospital-set comedy drama Getting On is in the running for the Best New Programme Award, and Have I Got News For You and Mock The Week are in the shortlist for the Best Entertainment Programme.

The Inbetweeners is also listed in the Best Multichannel Programme category, whilst Bill Bailey's Remarkable Guide to the Orchestra is amongst the shows in the running for Best Music Programme.

The Broadcast Awards, run by the TV industry newspaper Broadcast, is a black-tie evening with over 1,200 of television's most influential individuals attending. The event takes place at Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane on 27th January 2010. To see the full shortlist visit broadcastawards.co.uk
