FUBAR Radio

Here's a new opportunity for comedians who are looking to gain experience in the field of presenting...

FUBAR Radio, the UK's new comedy-focused digital radio station, has launched a competition to find a sidekick for presenter Justin Lee Collins.

The station says: "Do you have the FU Factor? Have you been given a voice that needs to be heard? Think of yourself as an outspoken individual? If that's a yes, FUBAR Radio is looking for you."

The radio network is on the hunt for a permanent sidekick to join presenter Justin Lee Collins on his daily 4pm to 7pm drivetime show. Producers are looking for someone who can 'cavort with the team, as well as challenge the norms of presenting and entertain the fans'.

The station is willing to take an unknown inexperienced member of the public, or someone who is already working as a comedian.

There are two routes to apply:

A) Download the FUBAR Radio app on to your Apple or Android phone and then submit a short piece of audio introducing yourself to the 'FU You' section of the app.

B) Submit a video audition to studio@fubarradio.com, or by posting a link to the video to the Twitter account @FubarRadio, with the hashtag #FuFactor.

The winner will be chosen by Justin Lee Collins, with the help of listeners.

The producers add: "Free from industry watchdogs, there are no restrictions for entrants - apart from having to be over 18 - the most outrageous auditions, the better."
