Now running a sports pub, Garry and Barry are on a rivalry with another sports pub run by ex-bare-knuckle boxer Needles. The pubs challenge each other to a drinking competition, and Garry gets some coaching from the greatest drinker in history.

The East End has become the trendiest place in London after Hollywood actress Julia Robbins moves into the area. Dodgy Phil spots a chance to get the pub some business by dating her and by converting the pub into a bookshop.

4. Sixties

First Broadcast: Sun 15th July 2001

There is a sixties revival, with new band The Cockneys being dubbed the new Beatles. The pub manages to get the band to play a gig there and Dodgy Phil manages to pack the pub out with the that most dangerous of groups - teenage girls. But can The Cockneys face the pressure?

5. Caine

First Broadcast: Sun 22nd July 2001

The pub turns itself into a restaurant, although the only thing that Barry can cook is toast. Dodgy Phil tries to increase the pub's popularity by claiming it is owned by Michael Caine. This leads to a visit from The Michael Caine Appreciation Society, Caine-obsessive Garry going into overdrive, and the real Michael Caine planning to sue.

The pub gets a visit from Lovely Susan, who persuades Garry and Barry to make a pub for women. This makes Dodgy Phil jealous and he begins to dig up some dirt on her. He then discovers that every pub made by Lovely Susan has been destroyed.
