Having been on the brink of success 15 years ago, celebrity chef Roland has since lost the sparkle and drive needed to win a long-coveted Michelin star.

He can cook with the best of them when he puts his mind to it, but laziness gets the better of him.

Bib Spears

Bib is Roland's long suffering sous chef to does all the hard work whilst his boss takes the credit. He is under pressure and hasn't spent time with his wife for months. It doesn't help that Skoose is trying to take his job.

Despite all his problems, Bib knows he is lucky to be working alongside a true culinary genius and Roland knows that Bib is a true friend. But this doesn't stop things from getting heated in the kitchen.

Skoose

Skoose is the apprentice chef. He has zero respect for Roland and is borderline psychotic. He has ambitions to replace the under-pressure Bib.

Caroline

Caroline is the restaurant manager. She is in charge of 'front of house' and Roland's laziness in the kitchen makes her quite annoyed.

It's possible that Caroline actually fancies Roland - but she's hiding it quite well.

Kiki

Quirky waitress Kiki is a bit dim. For example, she'll take an order for an eggless omelette quite seriously.

Celia

Celia drops into the restaurant from time to time. She is the widow of the hotel owner and is now technically the boss. Unfortunately she's a bit bonkers.

Axel

Axel works in the kitchen. He's a hardworker, but his clumsiness means he'll never be promoted.
