This sketch show was made for Channel 5 in an effort to compete with the comedy on other terrestrial channels. Starring Simon Pegg, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Fiona Allen and Amanda Holden, the programme used a variety of unique and different filming styles. This included using security camera footage, hidden minature cameras and faux adverts. The sketch were, for the most part, unrelated to one another.

In January and February 2000 Channel Five broadcast a re-edited version of the show. This seven-episode 'highlights' series was known as We Know Where You Live - Remix, or in some places The Best Of We Know Where You Live.

Our Review: A brave and worthy attempt by Channel Five to begin broadcasting home-grown comedy, however ultimately let down by some rubbish sketches and a cheap budget. Now only notable because of the cast - most of whom have gone on to become big stars.
