Meet the Not-Very-Scary-Sharks, the Scratching Badgers, the DIY Orangutan, the Vultures' Flying School and a marmot called Alan. They all come together in this show which combines the comedy talents of Jason Manford and friends together with the BBC's best natural history footage. Our Review: This show is squarely aimed at a family audience... always a tricky task to get right. The pilot, shown in March 2009, was fairly fun, but definitely something more for the kids than adult viewers. The full series was much the same: there were a few great sketches, and the new guest stars did add a little 'something', but the half-hour length of the episodes meant that there were more misses than hits and a fair number of repeated sketches. |
