1. Baby, It's Cold Outside

First Broadcast: Wed 16th June 1965

Bob and Terry have a date with a couple of nurses who are leaving the area in a few days time. Thinking they may be on to a sure thing, they try to find a place to take them to but draw a blank. They finally get a break when they meet Jack in the pub and they offer to babysit for him. When they take the girls back to his flat they try to pass it off as their own - but when the baby cries it's a difficult one to explain!

2. A Star is Born

First Broadcast: Wed 23rd June 1965

It never pays to criticise someone else's singing if you can't sing yourself. Terry and Bob are challenged to compete in a pub talent night after making fun of Jack's drunken singing on his 42nd birthday. There is a £25 prize for the winner but Terry is more interested in the person who issued the challenge - Rhona, the barmaid!

3. The Talk of the Town

Bob has a hangover and the events of the party the night before are a complete blank. When he gets to work people are congratulating him on his engagement to Helen - and then it dawns. He proposed to her at somebody else's engagement party and now the rumours are rife that she must be pregnant. How will Bob tell Helen that he has made a mistake without losing face?!

4. The Last of the Big Spenders

While visiting a department store, Bob and Terry try to impress two pretty demonstrators by buying up most of their products. Alas, they succeed in their goal of getting a date but have spent all their money achieving it. To make matters worse, the girls suggest a series of expensive locations for their night out and the lads spend more time checking their wallets than chatting up the girls.

6. Where Have All the Flowers Gone?

First Broadcast: Wed 21st July 1965

A wedding for one of Terry's relatives causes tongues to wag - "when are you and Bob going to get married, isn't it about time?". They are more interested in the two young bridesmaids but they do reflect on how all the people from school have got married. "It wasn't so bad when the girls you were at school with got married but now it's the blokes"! They start to feel very old - and Cyril isn't helping either ...
