Maurice and Gerard, are two would-be musicians whose ambitions far outreach their abilities, but that doesn't stop them from dreaming of the big time.

They perform as the band E-Z Feelin and tour Ireland playing dubious venues. They are assisted by their roadie, Tom Grace who lives alone with his dog, Himmler. Tom believes that he is regularly blessed by visits from the Virgin Mary. When ex-U2 roadie Bob Salmon gives Maurice some old gear - a smoke machine and strobe light - that used to belong to Ireland's most famous internationally renowned rock band, Maurice sees this as an opportunity to beef up their live show. But Bob has fallen out with Bono and co, and U2 want their old equipment back...

Meanwhile, Maurice and Gerard agree to smuggle some 'goods' into Northern Ireland to repay an old debt. Thus the scene is set for one of E-Z Feelin's most dangerous gigs of all time...

Our Review: The general opinion of this sitcom was that it contained very weak humour. To quote one of the posters in our forum thread - "It had very few jokes, and gags it did have were hackneyed to death". We'd have to agree. Father Ted this was not.
